Yes, I've eaten peacock. Kind of tough tho.

It would be war if my neighbor called me OLD. I would be like "bring it on". Oh noooo he just didn't.

I KNOW DATS RIGHT!

California is one of those states that has a law for everything and everyone, so just get busy and find the one that fits.. and if all else fails
Nothin says "UP YOURS" Like gunpowder and lead!

no one and I mean no one has to put up with neighors like that..get you some signs that say no Trespassing and hang on your fence, one for each side, then you have even more rights because your land is now posted..and the law has to do something.. I know because I have been there and done that...It works..

BTW: I know about where you live I grew up in Tulare County and would go to springville every summer..

Well, you hate to burn bridges and be a bad neighbor, but I am inclined to think the peacocks should conveniently "disappear". They are worth a little money. Pen them up and haul them to an auction somewhere if you don't want to "off" them. It really isn't their fault they have a dumb owner.

When he comes to complain, say you haven't seen a thing, but good riddence and that maybe HE should go back to bed and wake up on the RIGHT side.

Also, document everything they have wrecked. Some people don't get it and need someone (authorities) to explain that damages from their livestock cost $$$$. This dude needs to be hit in the wallet.

If he's removing your fence and he can't prove it's his and you can prove it's on your land, I would think that would qualify as destroying private property and is probably a misdemeanor. I can't see you have any other option than calling the police.

I think that was good advice about the POSTED signs. The law in my state is you can't claim trespassing if you don't have those signs.

How incredibly unpleasant for you!

I've been researching the laws in CA, anything I do to those things (and get caught) is considered abuse by me and results in a fine or jail time, there is a law in Arcadia that peacocks have the rightaway always! whaaaaat?????????? The closest law I can find is that I have a right to a peaceful enjoyment of my property, however in SanFrancisco, that was tried by a man with the neigbors 60 or so peacocks roaming on his property and he didn't win.
Heres my delima, Tulare County is an agriculture heavy county, its one of the poorest counties in the nation, we share our sherriff. OK, those people aren't called Deliverance for no reason, they also sell something, lots of traffic to there; new cars and old cars, head Deliverances fat blond girl friend works for a local alarm company, they have a scanner and she reports what she hears for the area. We don't know why they are ignored by law enforcement, except maybe no county rescources, or maybe they are just selling eggs.
right..........
My dh drives over the road, he took a few days off here b/c of yesterday and is making his presence known.
What a mess................. But, those things really need to go somewhere. SSS
