Misty was at home and she couldn't get her self to become tired. She kept thinking about the girl she saw at the stables. She made up her mind and wrote a not to her parents saying she went back to town. Misty slipped on her down jacket and closed the cottage door slowly behind her trying not to wince at the creaky door. Misty ran down the slope and into town. The lights of buildings and such flickered beneath her.

“Ahhh yes I’ve heard of that, we own more than 6 thousand horses that are all worth thousands of dollars! She patted the sleek stallions (Castles) neck, “my dad is going to kill me when he finds out I took him for a ride” she said shaking her head “oh well”.

Misty looked through town for the girl until she reached a river. She saw many girls there she slipped into the shadows getting closer. A twig snapped under her weight.

River jumped, startled that the girl had appeared nearly out of thin air next to her. "Uhuh, yeah." She said quickly, backing up slightly to get the odd teenager out of her face. "It's pointless." She muttered, partly about the dance, and partly to herself about getting away, other people were standing so close that it would be almost impossible to turn tail and flee. "I don't believe we know each other...?" She said, slightly hinting that since they weren't acquaintances, to get out of her face.
