Hungry Hawk antagonizing my girls

My daughter took a video while we away of a large hawk antagonizing our girls. Very cool video, but very scared girls. No free ranging for these ladies even during the day now. Covered Runs only.
Tried to upload the video but assuming we can't? Are MP4 videos allowed?
Thought it would be cool to share. Just some snapshots from video now.

Think I did it.
My daughter yelled and chased the hawk away at the end but as hes flying away he screeched back at her. LOL. As if to say..."I'll be back".

This is not acceptable, even if raptors are protected. He is clearly overstepping the bounds of his place in the food chain. It is possible to get a permit to remove a problem raptor, (excepting endangered and eagles). I would call your local ACO, and your state wild life management office, and ask what your options are.

Try hanging CD's from strings, high above the coop area. The reflection of the sun hitting the CD can deter hawks.

Most likely the hawk will move on once it realizes they are in a protected run.

CD's! Great idea! Removing probably wont work as we have others, a pair of bald eagles, and an owl. CD's may help though and I have a brand new pack I was going to use for a scout project and never did!

guinea fowls will deter hawks because of the noise they make. maybe peafowls could protect them?
