When living in Japan, I had raw sushi. Once. It was delicious, but no way will I have it again, and certainly not in the Midwest! There's a reason that we cook our food!!! Mary
Wish I could make salsa, or guacamole, with cilantro. My Mexican husband hates it. One leaf and he can tell.Sounds yummy! Blanched to tomatillos, added a bunch of cilantro and serrano peppers a bit of salt into the processor. My need a bit more heat but will let it sit overnight first as it tends to increase with resting.

Hopefully you'll be back on the grid soon and back to normal. I hope you don't have to wait too long for the services to remove the trees and let you out. Phew, glad all is relatively ok.limited inet, no power, no shower. all fine. trees down bigtime. amimals safe. roads blocked us in.
I came across an article the other day that said there are biological reasons for either liking it or hating it. Some people actually taste something differently to others. It isn't that they just think it tastes like soap, they actually are tasting it like soap.My Mexican husband hates it. One leaf and he can tell.
