Anheiser Busch has stopped filling cans with beer and started filling them with emergency drinking water. upon hearing this, Some Texans were heard to shout "Send the beer!"
Ain't it the truth! Seriously, if you leave the area, the farther you go the more welcome you will be. Don't know why exactly, but another Katrina observation. Perhaps because they are having to deal with less extra people. Less traffic, more places available to stay, etc. Those cities and towns close by often get overwhelmed by the massive number of people who have no place to go. Still hoping for the best for all of you dealing with Harvey.

Hang tight and be safe, this is the worst part. Where you are just not sure what will happen next and don't really know what to do. Remember you were here for us 12 years ago and no one has forgotten. We will be here for you. Try to be patient and know there are many people in our country who will come to your aid.

Weather channel says New Orleans is going to get lots of rain, but nothing the pump system can't handle. HA Has anyone told them we are operatering on less than 50% turbine power for our pumps? Couldn't hold up to normal heavy rain event a few weeks ago. We will flood, unless we get very little rain. Can't pump it out!
