Are swan worse than geese?
Would they chase me too?
yes

Me neither, humans use strange words to describe behaviors ...

I'm about twenty pages behind, lol, but yep, I breed tufted Romans. I vote tufted Roman on the white goose. Here are mine:

so purdy :love but i thought you had some that werent white??

Yeah he drinks coffee and beer but he doesn't like soda. I don't purposely give him any of it he's a drink thief. He's never more than arms length away if I'm outside so if I put it down for a second he's in it, trots away if I catch him but he's got that beard so he's busted either way.
LOL

Cool, let the little guy scare the gander away, he will be proud to 'save' his mom!
What car? I thought it was close to your house?
You will look awesome in your warrior suit!
i think she said a mile round trip, i think she is being lazy

Kiki, do you think you could vent sex your goose for us?
:lau

Geeeze... In the time I typed my post we had three pages of posts.:th

Ok... DW has decided that the new RIWs are way too affectionate. And I'm finding it hard to walk in the pasture with them under foot. Once I get a pic I'll post it, but they are very happy to perch on us. DW isn't so much into being a perch. As we were leaving the pasture this evening, I had one on each shoulder. And they do peck a LOT.
fun!!!!!

This is what I just learned.

Geese are out of the question for now.
The pekin is a nutball..it runs around chasing the others and quacks a lot.
The rouen one is way too loud too...it didn't shut up once.
I didn't hear a peep out of any of the muscovies.

So maybe I can sneak scovie or two in my yard??
scovies hiss, they dont quack, and girl ducks are usually WAY louder than boys

Girl ducks are incredibly loud--boys not so much
:thumbsup

I think I need a house duck.
I wonder if I could teach my dogs to not kill it.

hmmmmm.....
could, just takes time.....

I couldn't let the kid see me running from a bird.
I would have scared him for life.
:thumbsup good for you!

Cars were driving by.
And I was parked right in front of someones house.
They probably had security cameras watching me.

DH would die if he came home from work and I had a stolen duck living in the bathroom.
lol, i dont think it would kill him :hu its just a duck

O great....all I need if for you crazies to convince dummy me to steal a duck!
its not stealing if it follows you

My gander Zilla lets me pet him;) Although I do have to trade with him - I get to pet him, he gets to chew on my hair. His mother Lacie does the same thing - but she didn't raise him, I did. So apparently it's hereditary :lau

Just because I love my geese and like showing them off:

700

700

700

(That is Lacie eating from my hand; I do not feed ganders like that.)

And that's Zilla in the pool. Zilla is short for Godzilla - my mother named him that because he was raised with Call ducklings. You can imagine the size difference, lol.
purdy birdies :love

Hmm. They call it baiting when hunting and kidnapping when done with kids. Why? Because it is too easy. They made it all illegal because it works!

But Mommy! He followed me home! Can we keep him! <puppy dog eyes>

I had to feed him 2 whole bags, but really, he did follow me home. He loves me!

She doth protest too much! I'm guessing she's already has a nest and a duck in the guest bath tub. LOL
:lau

Y'all are such enablers! Really, you should be ashamed.

nope, not at all

View attachment 1153690 Did I mention that I live with a crazy redhead too?
but we cant see it @RUNuts

Please, I have let the hens out to free range my yard, fed, fresh water, brought daughter to school, got fuel for my truck (the line was way long) and drove to the florist to talk about flowers and the homecoming dance. He says he heard from one of the boy's mother (that also works at the school) that they are going to postpone and it will be announced today, but he has not made mine yet and isn't making anymore until knows for sure the dance will be held, even if it means he has to work all night tonight. LOL Now I have my coffee and am catching up. :caf

Oh, I got an update on my Friend in PR this morning. She and her family are safe and sound, They are currently in the DC area, got back Tuesday, and planning to stay until school's out.

Yea, my sister's BiL, SiL and their kids should be flying up on Sunday. Great thing is they can have them live at the house, enroll the kids in school and all that. Miami has a huge PR population, so the officals are eager to help, and are allowing short cuts etc.
