Its already been downgraded to a TS. I hope people here start to chill down more. I knew it wouldnt hit us or it would dissipate. The wind outside is unusually windy though. I still dont know about those chicks. I just hope the storm get even weaker and doesnt effect the chicks. They still havent emailed back but i think theyll still send them.

Ok, count is in... 44 Rhode Island White and 15 Barred Hollands. Pics to follow once they show up on my computer. One of the assisted hatch didn't make it and two more look a little weak. I had two late starters both shrink wrapped that I just assisted, so four still in the bator and hoping for the best. One BH and the rest RIW.

ETA: Yes I have a big bator... Brinsea ova-easy 380. Turkey's go into lock down on Tuesday, then I have one more batch of chickens and turkeys, then a hail mary pass on ducks.

omg thats a lot of babies! Lucky.

I almost feel like asking ideal to send as many extra peanuts as they can just to eat but i think they may be annoyed of me emailing them

It looks like i wont escape the storm. Now the maps say its going to get us with several lines all over it. Im hoping the leward islands slooow it down and make it even weaker. It seems most here are thinking the lights will go out again but im hoping it wont be longer than a day. I hope the workers did their jobs right.

Its now just a giant rain storm and is almost nothing i think. At least i got the chicks coop/run prepared for any other that tries to sneak its way to us.
