Watching 10 assorted boats on a residential street corner in Houston getting folks and pets out of the flooded homes. All civilians.

This is happening everywhere here. The officials are out of boats/can only get to so many people.
The neighbors are helping get families out, it's great!

I'll bbl. getting stuff on the grill and smoker and slow cookers to feed my new private army. Laundry, KP, garden, chicken wranglers/trainers are all on deck. Lol, never had this much help before! Hugs and best wishes for y'all. Stay safe!

Hope your Mom and brother remain safe. From what they said on the news last night call 911 before they are totally desperate as there are so many calls it is taking awhile for people to be reached.

We are all safe for now.
We = my family and close friends.
Some have water in their homes but they are safe.
At this point we are all just trying to stay safe.
Having to stay on the second floor of your home is better then sitting in a crowded shelter right now.

Major storm band headed my way (New Orleans), heavy rain and possible tornado headed my way, news says it's moving fast, so hopefully no rain training. Waiting to hear if I will have to drive across town to pick up daughter from school.

Just hang in there I know its not easy there is a ton of help on the way from LA I know some are my friends are meeting up in Baton Rouge some leaving out today and some tomorrow heading your way with more boats, food and what ever else yall may need so just hang in there

I've been watching and reading and praying for you all. I have an aunt in Magnolia and the road out of her neighborhood is flooded, as is their neighbors house, so they are stuck where they are. Luckily her house is fine so far. Her 60ish chickens are also safe in their run, though a bit soggy.
