I'm so done with the rain..it has been NON stop all day for me.
Is there another adult who can watch the kids while you plug in some earphones(maybe listen to chicken sounds) and get some rest? Would be good for you to detach for just an hour or so.

Another adult?!
I have a house full of kids!

He needs to go to work!!!

LMAO

We are all just sick of the rain and sitting inside.

I'm actually ok..it's not that bad yet.

The water level is rising around me so we have keeping our eyes on the road behind out house..then on that flooded the other night into my yard.

oh boy. I am ahead of you guys in time, so I've just woken up to a large number of updates.
1. What's the forecast for the continuing rain? Any idea of when it will stop? When it does, what sort of timeframe are you looking at for the floodwaters to recede? How long will the evacuated need to "camp out" elsewhere?
2. Sorry I didn't know there were gators in Texas, I really thought they were further south/east. Mind you, seeing those horrible fire ants, I think I might like to meet a gator more than those little B-words.
I know it must be hard, but even if you can't sleep Kikis GIrls, try lying down with your eyes shut and relax and think about something other than your situation for a while. You need to keep well, and rest is very important to keep your immune system up and running during all of the stress.

I can sing you "soft kitty" if it would help? :D
