When he first told me the story, the very FIRST thing that popped into my mind was, " A biologist, a physicist, and an engineer all walked into a bar.....".
:lau

That said, how cool is it to have a scientific formula to make stock created by some of the brightest folks in the world - and proven by the actual use of said formula. How can you go wrong? Way to go, @rjohns39!

never cared for deep fried turkey like mine in a oven
Probably because you haven't had my moms juicy cajun deep fried turkey yet.

She makes this huge artichoke cheese casserole type thing that probably has 50 ingredients in it....it is great.
And the sweet potato casserole is not the regular ones you see online.
We do not do the cranberry in a can stuff here.
She makes some type of cranberry stuff..with real whole cranberries that is so darn good.

I need to call her and get her recipes written down.

We use that set up for crawfish boils and frying turkeys.

The back story, is we had just finished off 200 pounds of mud bugs...:celebrate

lololol "touche~" lololol

That's what you get, @rjohns39 for making @KikisGirls wait!

I make a bourbon cranberry sauce and can it for later. Don't buy the stuff in the can--but have to make two batches DW doesn't like the whole berries, so I run hers through the sieve. I also put up cranberry juice and cranapple juice.:pop

Thanksgiving at my house has been turkey or chicken... cranberries... I've also done up glumpki, Stuffing of course, tatters... Pumpkin pie from scratch.
Haven't had glumpki in years. Add some butternut squash soup and looks like my menu.
