have blood draw for the vampires this morning.. I do not have a thyroid so they need to monitor my levels every now and then new Dr. upped my replacement by 1/2 found I do have more energy just all around feel better on new but need to verify little draw at the hospital

Omg y'all what a day! Hobo the Dominique has lost at least three leg scales i don't know what happened. And at dinner all my girls showed but one, I went looking and saw her in a heap on the ground I immediately freaked out! I picked her up and she was fine, just so full of dirt she couldn't move. I'm still sick with a cold and these chickens are going to finish me off.

Sounds like your hen may have regular mites and scale mites...the heavy dust in her feathers and the lost leg scales. Bathe her and use a soft toothbrush on her leg scales. Use Adams flea and tick dip to kill the mites. Then apply Vaseline to her legs to smother the mites. If you have any Ivermectin you can put a few drops under her wings instead of the Adams.

So sorry about the blown vein. I'm getting grumpy and don't let people practice on me anymore. One shot. Get me someone else. I've got veins that roll and don't like bruises.
