They think I'm too old for these types of projects.:old
Your age doesn't change my opinion .... I believe Gen Honore Ret is old too, he still gives good advice.
quoted from another article.....
Retired lieutenant general Russel Honore, who was called in to manage recovery efforts in New Orleans after days of inaction by the Bush administration following Hurricane Katrina in 2005, said Thursday in an interview with Bloomberg that the federal government should have sent relief workers and aid ahead of the storm.

Honore said the U.S. military, particularly the Northern Command, should be deployed to Puerto Rico to oversee the recovery, which is currently being managed by thousands of federal workers including 600 from the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA):

Only the military has the ability to move supplies quickly onto the island as many ports remain closed, he said—what he called "expeditionary logistics," a mix of specialized ships, aircraft and other equipment that the National Guard can’t match. Before the storm hit, the federal government should have positioned more personnel in Puerto Rico, he said.

On Wednesday the Department of Defense announced that brigadier general Rich Kim was being sent to Puerto Rico to establish a command center aimed at getting aid efforts underway on land. The move comes after criticism from the mayor of San Juan that relief workers had "no marching orders" and were mainly assessing damage earlier in the week.

"It’s kind of like Katrina: We got it. We got it. Oh, shit, send in the cavalry," said Honore told Bloomberg. "This is a hit on White House decision making."

Hope things begin improving now!

I was on the 50 yard pistol berm putting clays out. Glock boy pops out of no where and asks why I was putting targets "way out there" on a pistol range. :) I proceeded to bust them up from 50 yards. It ain't hard.

He puts a torso target at 7 feet and proceeds to miss.:hmm I was concerned for our safety.

Blessed are they who focus on the front sight and squeezes!

Since I am in law enforcement, I have to re-qualify every year on the pistol, M-16 and the 12 gauge pump shotgun. That front sight is very important! All my girls know how to shoot and have a concealed carry license as well as their own pistols. They pack heat where I live. We don't have a very good sheriff at the moment - limiting patrols in our area due to the "low crime rate", which is bull. But, since we are country folk, most of us have firearms of one sort or another, so we are usually prepared for any that want to break in and steal our stuff.

We can shoot in our backyard as well since we are out in the country.

Totally off topic, I know.

I got a leghorn with red everywhere and 2 fingers fit between the butt bones. At what age do the over achievers start laying treasure (rent)? I'm not saying the age because I don't want to prejudice your answer. This is a leghorn and I'm guessing different from the heritage BR that aren't even thinking of turning red.

If it was a single bird, I'd think it was a fluke. It isn't. Got 3 of them like this.
Mine started laying at 17 weeks.
