My Rouen's are louder than my rooos in the morning.

Mine was horrible tonight!

It's kindof new to me. Turkeys do it all the time--but this is new with chickens.

The kid kept wanting to throw him treats..I would not let him feed that meany anything.

This is my first batch of really freindly chickens too must be something in the air lately. That Dominique on my back was hopping on me the first day I got her. And I've never had such an laid back rooster. And I've had a whole lot of chickens!

This is what I just learned.

Geese are out of the question for now.
The pekin is a nutball..it runs around chasing the others and quacks a lot.
The rouen one is way too loud too...it didn't shut up once.
I didn't hear a peep out of any of the muscovies.

So maybe I can sneak scovie or two in my yard??

Scovies are very quiet. They only hiss, even females. Used to have two that came over for food---miss them lots.
