Windy and rainy here in Molino, just north of Pensacola. Tornado warnings all day, and I can hear the wind howling outside, although it's nothing like they are getting further west. Hope Urseline chick is OK! We still have power for the moment.
It's morning....power for you still?
:fl

Hmm....really hope Ursuline is ok. I think the upper part of the storm is over us so it's dark, lightly raining and windy up here. The leaves are turning colors (even though it was 86 degrees out yesterday) but of course the wind is knocking all the leaves off....I HATE raking leaves.
Then don't.
Make the Chef rake them.
He does need to add more thing to his resume, yardman is a good one.

Ok...here is a new topic for everyone...and a good one.
What is the BEST chicken waterer (non-nipple) that everyone has found. I've amased a useless pile of chicken waterers because they all suck! I've had it. Leak, can't balance, rust, get knocked over....I've bought cheap, I've bought expensive....I give up!

I can get him to mow the lawn...that's about it. Oh wait...we have decorative grass out front (ones with big fluffly plumes)....I force the issue every fall/winter they need to be cut down....or it's me raking up the dead grass that's everywhere, in the spring.

I'm using a homemade one. 5 gallon bucket with holes in the side and a 5 gallon water cooler jug. Chickies stick their heads in to get to the water. Been working well for the most part. I'm still playing with the hold it off the bottom supports. More finicky that I thought.
