Great idea.
Warning dumb Kiki question following....

Can I send you cash...green US dollars?

Sending cash is a concern especially if mail delivery is questionable. Gift Card? Maybe?

Yes, PR uses green US dollars. They are a territory, not a separate anything.

Thanks for the warning. I giggled.

thank you for anything sent. please make packages discrete to avoid it going 'missing'
That was my thought - that the packages were being stolen by others. If the postal service is delivering them, you should be getting them. To steal mail from a mailbox or front porch is a federal offense - not that the dishonest care anything about that. Hopefully, if they are being taken, it's by someone that really NEEDS what the packages contain!

Yes! We need a list. So glad you're ok.:)
Uglyduckling, take some time to think about what you want and need and send us a list please, so we can start providing those things to you! Thanks, I am bad at figuring things out, I need specifics. Been where you are 12 years ago and want to give back.

@KikisGirls I started a conversation in the PM section. We will need a name to go with the address. If a package is held at the postoffice, an ID will be needed to match the name on the package.
Dan Barger on the Puerto Rico Poultry Breeders Hurricane Recovery page on Facebook has mentioned that packages arrive late, but often arrive.
He also said that Items can be ordered thru Walmart prepaid and local pickup is possible.
Military can confiscate large packages to distribute the sent items to those "more in need"...I don't know who makes that determination.
