Hurricane Earl

8pm update for noaa we are now in hurricane watch.
Spent the day pulling boats and putting things away, Just about ready as ready can be.
One good thing is it looks like it will be moving fast. Kinda like opening the car door on the highway fast.

This is taking the same track as Edna of 1954(?). It is gonna be a doozy. I wouldn't be surprised if they evacuate the whole island here. Major prep work here and the families I take care of.

it will be a level 2 when it hit's us, and if the path goes a bit more south it will rip right throwgh the annapoliss valley ( by the bay of funday)

My stepdaughter lives on Martha's Vineyard where Earl is expected to hit as a category 2. I'm not sure what her plans are for the storm yet. We hope to talk to her tonight. The only way off the island is by ferry so evacuation will be rough.
