I will! Hes being a duck and won’t let me wrap it. When I tried I put triple antibiotic on it? I’m not sure how to wrap it when I’m by myself. But I will definitely keep an eye on it.

And also how do you get it to stop bleeding? It’s not as bad right now.. but it was. He was walking on it just fine... and acting okay.

I don't think their claws grow back. Do you have any gauze? You could wrap it up to catch the blood. Maybe put some neosporine on it then wrap it up. Make sure the neosporine is the pain free kind.

I have gauze somewhere! I looked and can’t find it. I put triple antibiotic ointment on it. But it’s hard to wrap by myself.

Try an old t shirt, rip it in small strips for a make shift gauze. Wrap the duck in a towel and flip it on its back side, once on its back use your fore arm to hold her down

The claw won't grow back. He will be fine though. You can use crazy glue after you clean it to keep it sealed from bacteria..Or just keep him on clean, dry bedding.

I just recently walked into my coop to clean and found blood [a lot of blood] all over one of the roosts went out and walked around to make sure no one was dying from an injury everyone looks and acted fine so I had to wait till that evening when everyone went in to roost so I could check feet I found nothing so I am thinking someone pulled off a nail but my goodness when I saw that blood I just knew someone almost bled to death. They do bleed a lot when they lose a nail.

My quail, randomly was preening his feet, and then I looked on my hand (where he was standing) and there was some marks of blood, he had pulled off his toenail for no reason the i knew of....anyway...he's fantastic, so I'm glad. No idea why he did it... but he's good..
