Pics
Lets not have Cows,Pigs,Sheep,Goats,(Chickens),Dogs,Cats,Pigeons, ether all are crossed
I do NOT sell any birds alive to anyone......
PS I love pheasants in their pure form too

I have 100s of pics of hybrid and crossed pheasants
Could you post some pics or tell us where to find them? What all crosses do you have?

I was talking to a customer today about ringneck pheasants. He said he had some 'pure Chinese ringnecks' so I asked what kind. He said they were all bluebacks. I asked what subspecies of ringneck he had and he could only answer with "I got them at the feed store as pure Chinese ringnecks, they're not cross-bred" which I responded with "If you got them at the feed store, they're just a ringneck type mutt with who knows how many different Phasianus cochicus subspecies mixed in". The guy shrugged and said he knew they were pure and that's all he cares about.

I am not sure what mine are. All I know they are ringnecks. I raised the one female for a school project (there was 9 total birds but I only kept 1) and that one came from a hatchery in the area. The other 2 I bought from a guy. So who knows...

No chicken/pheasant hybrids are quite rare.
That is an interesting fact. I had a silkie hen hatched and raised two Ring-necked pheasants. They grew up with the Silkie temperament/behavior. It was all heaven until I caught the male pheasant trying to mate with the hens. So I moved him to a separate pen with a female pheasant companion. He had no interest in her...the Silkie hens was all he ever wanted. After a month of watching him stare at the silkie coop day and night, I gave it to a friend of mine...two days later he escaped.
I was afraid of letting him mate with silkie hens because of size.
