Hypothermia rooster

Hey guys.

When we went outside tonight to do a final chicken check we found our rooster face down in the dirt. Thinking he was dead we went to pick him up and he moved.

We have been trying to get him GRADUALLY warmed up with water.

I just need to know if there’s anything else I can do ow what signs I should look for to know if it’s too late or I’m doing the right things.

Take a picture of what he looks like now. It's better to use a heating bulb or a heating pad with a towel over it to warm him up. With the heating pad you have him stand or laying on it. It can't be too hot. You want him to stay dry.

Some people use a hair dryer as away to warm up chilled chickens.

The hair dryer was needed after the water bit…. He finally has started to open up his eyes an show signs of life.
