I’m so close to chicks!

Super exciting! I literally couldn't sleep when mine went into lock down. We are heading into winter here in South Africa so I was a little nervous about keeping the temperature in the brooder correct but so far so good.

I know this is random and off topic but what's it like in South Africa ? That's so cool that you live there!

So cute the baby chick ... The first three weeks are the phase of imprinting.
If you keep going to get them used to you and especially your hand, ja feeding and cuddle, they will be very tame in the end

I know this is random and off topic but what's it like in South Africa ? That's so cool that you live there!

South Africa is awesome. Sort of a weird mix between developed and developing world. Amazing climate. Very mild winters, so I can still use my pool for most of the year. I spend most of my time in Johannesburg but we also have a home in Cape Town and a game farm in the north which is lovely to spend some time in the bush seeing all the animals. You should come for a vacation!

That would take years of saving up to get to South Africa , at least for me , my sis wants to go to Africa in a couple of years . I've always wondered what it's like so thank you and that's so cool! Good night .

Absolutely ... I have 78 chicks, so I couldn't take care of all. I picked this one ❤

Don't forget your voice... they are imprinting to the voice very much.
