I almost killed one of my Blessing Ducks!!

I have 2 male Runners & 2 female Runners, I also have 1 male Pekin and 3 Pekin females. I did not know anything about age restrictions when introducing them into a new flock.

I'm trying to find out the best course of action to keep them all and them to be healthy, happy ducks. Right now, I have ALL young duck/drakes together-they are all happy. My older Pekin Drake is alone and he is not happy.

If I put the three female Pekin with the Pekin Drake at this age will they be okay? And, if I keep the four Runners together, will they be okay?

Thank you for taking the time to help me! I'm at a loss!
Wait and in the fall or once he calms or eclipse time he can be introduced to the Pekin hens. But your going to need two different pens and houses for the two breeds..Plus one Runner Drake should be rehomed too...

Objection! Just get four to six more females and he can stay. ;)
Duck math is so easy! More Ducks = more fun= more eggs!

Well definitely depends on the Drakes because fighting isn't fun either.
Maybe i am just lucky with my two boys, they usually seem to be overworked by the girls, except for Erpelchen's occasional encounter with Katharina Duck who wants nothing to do with him… But i have 15 ducks, two drakes and a lot of space to roam free.

Well that's good but not always the case for other people.

You know I also allow free range actually prefer it but they don't really free range.

With "free range" i mean, i have about 5000+ sqft fenced in around the house where they can roam free plus i am using cheap-plastic-fencing to allow them access to additional spots like my ruined potato patch. I can't let them roam completely free, once they discover the creek at the bottom of the hill they would end up in downtown Charleston pretty quickly.
