I Am Setting Eggs Tonight.. Anyone Else?

I actually had a light brahma chick hatch LAST NIGHT!

I pulled them out to candle before putting them in the hatcher, which I was supposed to do today, and the last egg I candled was pipped and the chick was peeping at me!

So I quickly put them in the hatcher... two more LBs and one silkie egg are pipped this morning!!

Don't know why they are so early... I'm using a Sportsman 1502, set to 100°F, and all the other hatches have been right on time.
But

I'm happy! He looks healthy, and all, and I'm just glad I caught it in time, otherwise she'd be stuck in the turner on the top rack this morning!

This is actually my first hatch that was NOT early. I am sure they will start pipping tomorrow. Can't wait.. I love hearing the peeping. Makes me nervous all the same. The air cells were not great so I am setting myself up for a little disappointment.. Good luck on the others, don't forget to add pics!

I can't seem to candle anything. Obviously not the Marans, but the RIR ones are impossible too. I'm such a newb. I THINK the eggs are rocking. I stayed up last night (I wanted to help my DH get ready for work this morning, as it's his birthday

. I didn't trust myself actually getting up with him. Also, I'm trying to kind of reset myself. If I am tired earlier tonight, I'll go to sleep early and wake up early, I hope.

) All last night I was hearing bumping from the general direction of the bator, but I'm not seeing any pips. I kinda feel like an expectant father. All that anxiety to help, and nothing to do! LOL.

Hang in there Selena.. just DON'T open the bator! I know mine did some rocking last night.. I layed them all on the "O" side (I mark the eggs with an "X" on one side and an "O" on the other for turning purposes) half of them were on the "X" side this morning. I can't tell if any pipped either, sometimes they do it on the side facing down. The peeping is making me crazy

There's nothing we can do yet!!

I have my marans sitting in an egg carton as advised by some oldtimers here- just took them out of the turner yesterday. Pip, babies, pip!

and I have my Maran eggs and Sillkie/SG eggs sitting in egg cartons ready to go in my bator tonight. Yay!
