Well, my boys are in 4-H and came home wanting to incubate eggs. Yes, I am crazy. So, I tracked down some eggs . . . mixed, mutts, whatever. We incubate (while I am thinking that this won't work). Well, low and behold . . . 14 out of 24 hatched out last week. What a great bunch. But because I thought we only had 4 good eggs (learning curve mind you
), I ordered barred rock in case none made it. Then we had 14 hatch . . . oh well, the more the merrier . . . now at 40 but have found homes for a few of them. I don't think I want to give up any others though.
