I'm fortunate. My DH has been known to say things like, "Let's stop by the farm store and see if they have chicks," or "Have fun with the girls at the auction." I brought home 2 Crevecouers last weekend that he didn't even bat an eye at. I used to bring home horses, so this is an improvement in his mind (the beer and pizza thing works well too).
