I broke down and made a hat for my Rooster's comb

His poor comb was so blistered and broken from the last freezebite and it still hasn't healed all the way.

I broke down and made him a hat for the next couple of days.

I felt bad putting it on him, but he was really hurt the last time.

I used a little dot of glue on both sides to stick it on.

He may hate it. But I will sleep easier.

I should do this for my roo. He got frostbite this year, it wasn't that bad and he looks almost perfect but his girls keep pecking at the new skin and I'm worried about him. He's a good roo but a pushover, grew up under the evil rein of his big brother President Snow. Poor Rooster didn't crow until he was nine months old.

Jemma, That was very nice of you to take care of him. I'm sure he appreciates it. He looks like he's at graduation, I bet the other roosters are jealous! :thumbsup
