I highly suspect the R word isnt allowed on this forum.Whats the meaning of this? I didn’t know so i asked google:
It’s the most retarded command ever. I’m sure most of you have already watched dora the exlorer so you know who the fox is. dora simply asks swiper nicely to stop whatever he is doing. which is total BS cuz that is swipers job!!
It shouldnt be allowed anywhere. Its offensive.I highly suspect the R word isnt allowed on this forum.
If your birds arent within reach of the wall though?
Makes perfect sense.Predators spook chickens and get them flying around. If it is dark, once against the fence they 'freeze' there and are ready prey.
I’d rather just kill them which gives me a real nice pelt (usually). Thank you so much!!!!

Against foxes: 1.80 m high + 30 cm outward fencing or electric wire- + 40 cm tiles or 50 cm deep hwc
- + Automatic pop door
- Against marters: 0.5” hwc an strong netting on top.
Just a very temporary solution. If you shoot one predator there is room for another one.I’d rather just kill them which gives me a real nice pelt (usually). Thank you so much!!!!
Sounds like that works out for @roosterhavoc so they get more pelts overall hahaJust a very temporary solution. If you shoot one predator there is room for another one.
Nope. It’s been working for me for years. I free range most of my birds and I might lose one occasionally, like 1 a year if that out of over 100 loose birds. If another one moves in I kill and skin that one too.I’m really sorry . I quoted what I found on the internet without thinking carefully/ knowing what the impact can be using this R word. I will change the post.

Edit: a moderator moderated it for me.![]()
You have game chickens though, yeah? Most chicken keepers arent used to how amazingly predator-averse and scrappy they are.Nope. It’s been working for me for years.
