One of my white leghorns has a very red crown and Im worried it moght be a roo. My other two dont habe nearly as red or large crowns. Theyre about three months old and its my first time with chickens honestly, so Im trying to learn as much as possible

I know it's pry way to early to tell. But I have a 6-7 week old Silkie. Any idea or suggestion on what they think it is? Roo or hen?? Also is it gray or considered blue? Just looking for some tips in what to look for. Thanks in advance!

2, 3, 4, 5, and 8 are cockerels. 2 and 3 look like they have some Marans/Easter Egger cross in their pedigree. 4 and 6 have Silkie ancestry. The rest are too mixed to pick out any particular breed.

I thought the same about 2, 3, and 5. What is up with #4 and that big flat patch where the comb should be? Kind of sad about #8. That was my daughter's favorite. Also, why is #1 so much smaller? Just the breed or do you think it is a bantam?

For #4, that big flat patch IS his comb. It's called a cushion or walnut comb. #7 has the same type of comb, but you can't see hers at all.
And yes, #1 is a bantam mix.
