It was water and food wasn't it? My memory is going in my old age. I wonder what I'll be like when I hit 40.

Edited to say: I looked it up, you are right. NNs already look like they have been fed after midnight.

Your excuse would have to be that you accidently splashed them with water.

More dangerous yet is calling the hatchery and finding out they have ALL these extra breeds that hatched.........needless to say I need a bigger coop.

Now that we've moved all but 9 chicks outside and I'm positive we have at least 5 roo's. . .I think a trip to TSC in needed here!!

Actually I do have to get feed tomorrow. However, ours hasn't had anything good just RIR's and Tetras (Not saying those aren't good, but I'd like to see and hear about grown tetras before purchasing, and I already have a few RIR's)

If those birds had been at our TSC when I went last week, I would have gotten some. Thinking about it, I should probably be getting more bags of food at a time so I don't have to go weekly, but that can wait until after chick days!

I don't have to worry about picking up any chicks. My TSC has round pen panels around the tanks so you can't really get a good look at them.

I think it was from all the unsupervised children trying to hold them.

yall all have more will power than this old fart.

I went to atwoods and they had red stars in,ran home to tell my wife,before I bought them,(mistake)

we went back, and she started getting every thing that was cute,and some that was ugly.

2 turkens
some silver laced spangled
some dominicks
geese
ducks
and turkeys

and others.

I was walking away holding my tongue, cause I wanted the reds.

we were in the car, she knew something was wrong and asked.
and I told her(all i really wanted was some red sexlinked chicks.)
but these others are fine.
we went back in, bought 12 reds.

and took home a total of 28chicks, 3 gooslings , two ducks, and 3 turkeys.

and I love it:^}

I'm proud of you and proud of myself because I just did same thing! I left the feed store with out any chicks, and those EE's were wanting to come with me so badly
