Hello!
As a long time seeker of knowledge on all things chicken. I have found myself drawn to BYC for ages, I really mean ages, it could be years!! But this year I finally took the plunge and decided to join!
When I saw everyone having a blast on hatch-alongs, when that baby fluff butt turned out to not be a pullet! (Well that's what they ALL said in BYC....) so It was time.
I love to hatch, don't have a huge space where I live most of the time and have an amazing space with Beautiful birds in the space I get to as much as possible with an amazing family who cares for my flock! It's a little of city meets country and jobs and passions don't quite get to coexist together.... yet...
So hello everyone!!
There is a flock of mixes, BCMs, Amerucana(somethings), Barred Rock's, Caramel Queens, Olive Eggers, Easter Eggers, Rhode Island Reds, a roo or two, and at least one incubator full of an assortment of Beautiful colours. And a Quail roo named Chicken Nugget, who rules the house as our guard bird, he's better than the Husky at letting us know of any possible intruders!! All 6" of him!!! All in the Beautiful Great White North of Canada!
