My coop was attacked by a raccoon tonight. One dead, one injured.
I had some solution in the hen first aid kit that I thought was an antibiotic for drinking water. I put it in a syringe and forced hen to drink it (which is what I did with that solution last time, in addition to letting her drink freel). only then did I see the tiny label saying the solution is betadine, not the drinking-water-based antibiotic. I hope I haven't tortured her in additon to the trauma. is there anything to do other than wait for the outcome?
