I got hit hard last night. Lost quite a few to DOGS!

Simply terrible.

We got hit a few days ago and lost half the flock. I'm out in the chicken coop with a flashlight on my hands and knees searching out any way the weasels might have gotten in.

I hope things start looking up. OUr were only 8 weeks old. I can't imagine losing them when they are grown like yours.

I thought I cried alot the first time around.

I am so sorry, Robin! Losing chickens to predators is just the worst feeling, we all know that. I hope the rest of your birds won't be harmed, and that your new Cochins will be just as special to you as the last ones.
