I got some bad ju-ju in the house pictures added

the front yard would be the best place for me under a nice tree there are already three small rose bushes and the area will be surrounded by a decorative little fence. I dont like the thought of the stone in my garage, thats the bad luck thingy. It needs a nice place, sombody cared enough, loved a child and bought this stone and now its sitting between my trash and a BBQ grill. I let you all know what i found out tomorrow night.

The dear departed may still be with you. It was common in some places to bury the dead on the family's property. This occurred often with un baptised babies and people that were at odds with the church for some reason. Or could be that is just what the family wanted.

Also, families often would place a stone for a loved one that was lost in the civil war and no body was returned to the family.

Anyway, some real estate agent probably told their client "that thing will creep out prospective buyers, get rid of it." And, so into the barn it went.

Well i called the cemetary and they told me i can keep it or bring it over, they understand not everybody likes them in the yard. The historical soc. told me there is no way of finding the true place where it of belongs since there is no name or age indicator. I will try to find the seller ofthe house and unless i can find her and she wantss it back , the stone will go in the front yard under a tree with a angel figurine mounted on it.
I was worried/crazy enough to tell that to the stone and asked it not to mess my leftover quail eggs up. cant hurt to ask.

Well, since you've done due dilligence on the stone, and no one 'wants' it, I'd make your memorial out of it and dedicate it to all the 'unknowns' out there....

there is nothing imaginary about getting slendered on myspace, dead baby ducks in eggs without over heating, exploding quail eggs, second degree burns on my arm and a real bad headcold. yes bad things happen but not that close together and only to me.
I suscripe to the theory that i angered/disturbed the spirit of the stone. I promised however to put him to a nicer place in my yard since i cant bring the stone back. Now i am waiting on what happens to my remaining eggs . On saturday my husband will help me get the stone out of the garage and into his new place .

Please don't worry about being cursed.

I don't know if this would make you feel better but think of it this way. Why would the spirit of an innocent child harm you in any way? When you die would you go out of your way to annoy someone just because they accidentally touched your headstone? Probably not.

Also many people have both bad and good things happen and yes, sometimes those events seem to happen one after another. But it has nothing to do with being cursed or blessed by an angry/happy spirit.

I love graveyards(I am odd) I've touched many a tombstone and haven't had any worse luck then most people. If it really bothers you then find out how your particular religion blesses items or areas and have your home blessed.

Your idea about using the headstone as a memoral for other children is beautiful. I think that is very fitting.

i love weird stuff and grave yards too, i always look at the kids graves for some reason, i guess because two of my uncles died in infancy and i had to go two a funeral for a five year old(cancerous brain tumor) and later for a 13 year old girl(suicide by hanging) or i go to military cemetarys. But who would think of finding a marker in their own garage.

Deb, i think spirits can get angry at the world that hurt them and they dont care who they bother. I just hope that i make this kid happy with what i am doing.
I am really glad about the tip of turning the bad juju into good juju.
