That's true!!!
There were chickens and pigs and horses in my neighbourhood 50 years ago...
The pig farm is now McMansions.
If you go to a place and look around and you see a cow or a horse or hear a rooster, the current residents aren't going to change because you bring your idiocy with you...

If you're within your rights, to Peaches with "anonymous". I've been there, done that, got the broken heart too. There's always one ijit that needs to prove what a jerk they are.

I checked through the ordinances in my area. We are deeded AR- Agricultural/ Residential. As long as we have over an acre of property, which I do, there are no restrictions to how many critters you can have. If it were AR-1 then there are restrictions under the 1 acre rule. No noise ordinance that I could find pertaining to farm animals, only barking dogs. I have been having trouble with one neighbor a few blocks over that use to be good friends. I think this was just a way to try and upset me. So, I feel better knowing the rules and that I am in no danger that way. I'll still keep an eye out, but it's a shame.

People are so ignorant! That's why I like animals best!
Ignore it. It sounds as if your other' neighbors are wonderful. No matter where you go, there is always some bad apple in the bunch to try to ruin it for everyone! They probably have nothing better to do with their time and probably a animal hating family.

I've had some issues with my neighbors lately to, and have moved here to get away from ignorant people and they they move in and try to take over and tell me how to do things, gets on my dang nerves!

If your other neighbors are fine with you and your family, just ignore it. Like I said, there is always someone somewhere going to try to ruin it for everyone or make a mountain out of a mole hill!

well they cant do jack squat but if you write a nice letter and by nice i actually mean nice they cant really argue with someone who isnt argueing back lol i do that to my grandma all the time she says why do you have chickens they are fowl (no pun intended) creatures and i say yea grandma your absolutly right and she cant say anything back theres nothing to say back good luck with your neighbors and they must have some super sniffers
