Ok, sorry I couldn’t get her wattles. There small and she keeps looking away like she is trying to avoid the camera.Hm.
Update in another couple weeks.
I'm inclined towards hen. I hope so anyway.View attachment 2565214Her wattles
Yay! Thanks, I’m excited, does the tail have anything to do with it. I find it shaped weird, I never had this breed before so I’m cluelessI'm inclined towards hen. I hope so anyway.
You can't generally tell by the tail. Hens can have big ones, roos can have small ones and vice versa. It's the hackles and saddles that'll let you know, so wait until they've grown in (hard though it is!) before deciding.Yay! Thanks, I’m excited, does the tail have anything to do with it. Oh...5 weeks with red wattles and comb... sorry, it's a cockerel. Hens don't get red until shortly before they start laying.

update in a few weeks for sure. Can't you have roos in your area?
Maybe, but we have a roo and we’re not looking for one... I wanted her because I like the patterns when they are hens. The roosters is pretty too but I like the hens better, and we sell eggs.update in a few weeks for sure. Can't you have roos in your area?
