I have a alomst 2 year old rooster with swollen wattels

eggcessive he looks like your white rooster in the pic you posted. I have a pic but it wont let me upload. I brought him inside and have him drinking from a dropper every hour. im just worried about him not eating. any thoughts?
That was not my rooster, but it belonged to another BYCer, achickymomma from this thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/821872/hen-has-swollen-purple-wattles. Apparently frostbite is painful. Offer him scrambled chopped eggs, and keep doing what you are doing. Be careful he doesn't choke on the water.

Thank you I finally got a pic up he is my baby I'll keep doing that!

I cannot tell you how much better I feel knowing that its frostbite lol. Instead of something else.

Day one for McKlintock...he made it through the night and the swelling has started to come down in his left wattle. This morning I had gave him water out of a dropper and egg smash he did really well with both. I also put Neosporin on the black parts from the frostbite. I just went down to the basement to check on him and give him some more water and he was sitting up which makes me very HAPPY. I'm hoping he will start crowing soon cause its been very quit around here lol!! I am going to keep doing the feeding every hour and see if he will eat some yogurt for me and put Neosporin on his wattles and comb before I go to bed tonight. Hopefully all this works and he will feel better!

Good to hear! All of the great care you're giving him should help him keep his strength while he heals. I remember how relieved I felt to hear our rooster finally crow after his horrible frostbite. Hoping you wake up to the sound of crowing tomorrow....but that's he's too tired to start until a decent hour. LOL

End of day 2...I can truly say that he has his fight back and is so curious about whats going on and the sounds through the house. I put Neosporin on again tonight and did the egg smash which he loved. Hoping to hear crowing and my husband complain about it lol. Thanks to all about the advice!!!
