Well the first pic it looks like a male and the second it looks like a girl lol

First picture is nuptial plumage, and second is eclipse plumage. It is a drake.

How cute! It sounds to me like he may be uncomfortable with your dad and doing alarm calls. I have a neighbor with a Muscovy and that kind of sounds like how he acts..But lots of tail wagging and biting.

How long have you had Maggie as a pet?

About 2 years. He was a rescue and was about 1 day old when we found him

Are you sure that Maggie is a male? If you look in Wikipedia, the duck in your pictures looks more like a female to me.
How did you got Maggie? Are there any breeders/hatcheries selling them? I'd like to have some - Now i really think i'm a duck-addict…

Maggie was found in the middle of the road, about 1 day old. I had to hand feed him, and water him. Ever since, he's been my best little buddy. I added a few more pics, and you can see that he is a boy
