I'm with you, Cindi. You always have good ideas. I read that post this morning and was saddened by it, since I've always found everyone here to be extremely helpful and nice, but I couldn't figure out anything I could do. Now you've figured it out for me! Thanks.

I think that's a good idea, Happychick! I already try to answer questions I feel qualified to answer, but I could be making more of an effort to find those "buried" posts. From now on, I am going to try to make it a habit to respond to unanswered posts.

I am on this forum so much I now have a brace on my hand. I suffer from chronic tendenitis and I do try to answer many questions. Sometimes I give references for my answers and sometimes it's not enough for the posters. Gotta have lots of answers to decide which they like. Not to mention differing opinions. ex. hay or chips in nest boxes.

I am now trying the pointy end up or pointy end down storage method. Eggs hatching now. 5 pipping 2 pointy end up , 3 pointy end down. None hatched yet.

I am still a "Newbie" here, and it made me feel welcome when people also jump in and answer your posts too, or at least "Acknowledge you" when you do try to join in and post in some of the threads.

Many of you are great here and very helpful and friendly.

I think this is great. I go to the unanswered post section everyday and try to find at least 3 or 4 that I can offer something to. I don't always have the answer but often I know where to find the answer and I can give them a link to another thread or just welcome them and let them know that they are not being ignored.
