Must be the bantam polish. They ride on my daughters shoulders all the time--while shes playing and even down the slide!!!!!!! Til I stopped her, that is.

My guy is definitely not a cuddly guy, he is quite skittish, but tolerates me when I am flinging oat treats into the coop.  He hates to be picked up but allows me to stroke his back as he walks by me, like yours.  We'll see how he does.  He's still quite young and the hormones haven't kicked into full gear yet.  If he gets bad he might be headed to freezer camp!

From your lips to God's ears!!! I'd love for him to be a hen...The only thing that makes me think roo is his wattles are redder than the other 5 Polish I have. That and at the base of his tail he has one short shiny greeish-black feather starting. I'll try to find a pic of his face up close...I took a lot of them yesterday.
