I have to talk POLISH!

We are just getting into Polish.

We have a Tolbunt pair and Gold Laced split hen already, but are interested in the White Crested Polish too.

We ordered 10 chicks from Dick Horstman but didn't have much luck with them and have four left at 2.5 weeks. We are not sure what went wrong with them because they were in a brooder with other chicks we hatched at the same time they were shipped with us, so we assume they were just being picked on. (They are now separate from our other chicks.) Are there any other breeders willing to ship ideally chicks or as a second option eggs? We tried looking at the Polish Breeders site but couldn't find a list.

I have an auction for assorted polish eggs including Bantam White Crested, Tolbunt and some Silver and Buff Laced Bantam I just listed today. ends and ships tomorrow

my first ever successful hatch-ebay eggs 6 of eight! successful in an incubator that is after a few failed attempts. I have never had polish and find these adorable. The little cone heads stomped around like frankenstien on the wire of the incubator. This is them at 24 hours. The top photo was the last hatched and feet have since uncurled. I foresee a larger enclosure by |Sunday!

Oh boy this scares me, Dick has just sent me chicks today! I hope I have better luck. I didn't put all eggs in one basket...lol... I ordered 6 polish and 6 rocks. I hope at least one or two polish survive or my little girl will be devastated. Was the issue you had because there were other breeds picking on the polish?

My Top Hat special, from Ideal, arrived yesterday. They put in only one extra chick after putting me off for an extra week, because they sold too many and couldn't fill all their orders. Oh, well.
I got Buff Laced, Golden Laced, White Crested Black, White Crested Blue, Splash,and Red Polish and they also included about 4/5 Sultans.

We think so. We haven't had any deaths since we put them in their own brooder.

Oh boy how grateful I am I am came across your post. My brooder is huge so I can split it with a wire panel until they are bigger. You just saved me so much misery! Thanks again!!

i got 10 polish from Dick last year and they all survived and am happy with them. They were the bantam silver polish​

I'm going to take a guess at Eli due to the crest shape.
