Actually I just checked the OP's intro thread and she is in Colorado, so yes an araucana would be rumpless. It should also have slate legs I believe and as you say, it has no obvious tufts, so not looking much like an araucana at all!Huh. The more I know.

Oh I do see the lighter pink and not so much growth on the pink,,dang,,I hope its not so but Ive been thinking its sooo big too..Maybee Ill try a anticrow collar,and Aracana/mix other chick does look like some of the pics Ive seen..anyway she probably an Easter egger like you say,,thats a mixed breed Arucana,Americauna,and maybee other all in one..Its nice to hear all of this,learn new stuff all the timeHere is a pic of one of my BR pullets at 9.5 weeks for comparison.

Not all araucanas have tufts, they can be clean faced. Tufts are a requirement for showing, but lack of tufts does not mean they are not purebred araucana.Huh. The more I know.
