I really don't know what to think about the buff it's like a fluffy fat ball of feathers on legs

In my (limited) experience, Buff Orps are slow developers and Sussex are fast developers.
So a bit of comb on a young Buff Orp means its probably a cockerel but on a SS it could well be a pullet.
I could very well be wrong, so hopeful they will all be hens!Thank you for your reply.
I'll be a little sad if the buff is a boy but we might try and keep him.
If one of the SS then they'll be sent back but it'll save me a lengthy journey if they are pullets!
