I love my silkies, I have five, and when we move I will have ALOT more. I love the breed and show your love for the very special bird. Post pics of your silkies. For the people just getting into silkies here is a breif history,
The Silkie chicken is a bird that originated in China and was unique for their fur like feathers. They are birds that are not good in hot heat or cold, because their feathers dont hold in the cold or the heat. They are great beautiful chickens and make great pets. I would recommend this chicken if you are looking for a very calm docile animal. Also a very broody breed they will take carre of any chick or sit on any egg. They are just all around an AWSOME bird.

it looks like it does, it has 5 toes and is feather footed i was hoping it is a cross with a silver seabright but we will see

yea he had some i picked them up from a guy who had like 50 chickens lol along with ducks and a guniea
