I Need A Buyer!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck! I *think* you had a link up yesterday to the property? If so, it said somewhere in there that half of it had to stay agricultural due to restrictions, so just be sure that whatever you plan won't get you in trouble with that part OR that it's something you can do off of the other half of the property. Hope you hear good news from them soon.

Great tactic! I never even considered saying "NO." That could work!

I am by no means suggesting that tactic! Our homeowners had the property for sale for 530+ days, and were only 30 days away from forclosure. We only 'accidently' took advantage of the situation. Saying "NO" to anything they come back with could end negotiations wreck a perfectly good deal. I also suggest there is no reason to haggle over $500! It doesn't amount to much in the end.

I wouldn't do it anyway. This kind of feels like bidding on an item on ebay. I keep thinking there should be a "bid" button somewhere.
Still haven't heard back. I took 24 hours to respond the first time, so maybe he's decided to do the same.

Yes
, that's what it says. I can grow plants/veggies/fruit and raise farm animals on it, but there's no law against keeping farm animals on the other half. I was thinking I'd have the agriculture half growing veggies/fruit/flowers and keep farm animals on part of the other half. The restrictions on the AG half is that I can't build a house and live on it. Whatever goes on there would have to be AG.

Wow... that's some picky counter offering!?!?!

I hope its not over a few bucks and something that's really worth it... I'm actually nervous they are going to be jerks!!!???

We went down $5,000 from his last counter offer. Figure it couldn't hurt. If he says no we'll take his last counter offer. I think he really wants to sell. It's been on the market since February.

Oh I hope so for you. I'm sure I know what they are going to say though... something along the lines of his seller fees are going to kill him... he needs that money to pay everyone and break even!

I gave that same song a dance to the buyer of my current house!

So, I already know what to expect. No surprises here. I just hope my husband doesn't lose his cool. He's part, Italian, Armenian and Irish. He's often grumpy and can snap if he feels he's being taken advantage of.
