I need help!!

Here's a fresh thought. It could be constipated. Do you have some coconut oil? It's easiest to give a chick in its solid form since it's hard to aspirate it into the lungs and it won't make a huge mess.

Just grasp the chick behind the head and force the beak open with your finger and thumb and then slip in tiny bits of the solid oil until you get a full teaspoon in. It will do no harm if this isn't the problem.

Constipation is painful. The chick should poop in a few hours and feel a lot better if this is its problem. Then you need to figure out why it got stopped up. Usually it's because a chick isn't getting enough water.

No coconut oil. I was reading another post about constipated chicken wonder if that's my issue.

If the chick is constipated, it can die without treatment. It's best to treat even if you merely suspect it's constipated. Mineral oil, castor oil, olive oil all will work. They're just a whole lot messier trying to get into the chick and there's a risk it can get into the lungs if you get any in the airway.

Put coconut oil on your shopping list. It should be in every chicken first aid kit. It's antibiotic, antifungal, and is a wonderful wound dressing.

She has her body all puffed up now and looks like she trying to poop but can't. I wiped her of with a warm cloth. Is there any other time remedies that are food relieving pain for constipation?

Where is the food? Sometimes they don't clue in on the feeder. Put down some paper towel. Spread chick feed on the towel. Peck at it with a finger. See if it eats.

I gave her some olive oil. I saw on something else about soaking them in warm water in a dish is that ok to do ?

Just a suggestion when did you get your babies? When I first got my babies they went off like crazy till they got comfy. Some sleep while others was awake they all slept at different times throughout the day. I watched them all the time. Now since they are bigger there sleeping when they are supposed to be.

Well now that I soaked her in warm water and gave her olive oil she quoted down some and is snuggling with the other chicks now. Hoping that was the trick to be done. Guess I'll be up all night checking on this poor thing. Guess that's how the first night of chicken owernship goes haha
