I need your help

Thanks Jody, I must have missed that, not sure how. I am going to contact a few of the shows and see what info I can get from them, as well as I am going to contact a few breeders and see what input they have on this particular situation. Any further input is still greatly appreciated.

I would love to see the Faverolle off the list. While the hatcheries are offering Faverolles, they are very poor quality and don't always make a very good representation of the true breed. Faverolles are the perfect bird in my opinion. They are a dual purpose bird that lay well in winter and are not exceptionally broody. They have great personalities, forage well and the interesting difference color and pattern of feathers in the male and female make them a great addition to a
anyone's flock as well.

I have owned several other breeds on the list, Sussex and Non Industrial Rhode Island Reds, none have been as productive or easy to keep as the Faverolle, I would think a nice economical bird that lays well and carries enough flesh to make a nice broiles would be much something even large operations would value.

Thanks Jaynie. I know they are a breed that has picked up in the popularity category for the reasons that you have stated, but still it seems as though it has been hard for people to find birds that are of good quality?
