Rustpaw perks up his ears and swivels them for a while. Something was watching him. Nudging Flamepaw he got out to inspect the bush that was staring at him. Blue eyes looked back at him. Rustpaw jumped but a fox sprung out into camp.
"I ssssmelll Bloodd!" it hissed
 
Galefeather gave Dustkit a brisk lick to attempt to comfort him. As she lifter her head again, she groaned. "TANGLEPELT!" she bellowed, "GET BACK IN THE ELDERS DEN!". Sure enough, Tanglepelt had teetered out of his den and was making his way towards the fox.

frantically looking around for Flamepaw who still had her vision blurred in one eye he saw Tangle pelt liming out of the elder's den. Rushing to his side he tried to coax him to get inside. "Tanglepelt, do you want to go back in the elder's den? I bet there is a nice plump shrew waiting for you," he said trying to control his shaking.
