"Ha! missed me!" called Dog leaping back and forth to avoid the little balls of moss being thrown at him.

"You're supposed to catch it," Dustkit explained, "Not run away from it."

"Of course." Finchstripe vowed loyally.

"I know you can," Auburnstar repeated, before drifting back to sleep.

Finchstripe bounded out of the leader's den. She raised her voice so all the cats could hear. "Auburnstar has instructed me to oversee the rebuilding of this camp." She meowed carefully. "Apprentices, those of you who are well enough, work on repairing the walls of camp. Warriors who are well enough, I want you to work on the dens. And you, Darkkit, can you help Rainshadow take care of the wounded cats? She has a lot in her paws and she could use a special helper for today. Before you all get to work, can I have Dropspring, Honeycloud, and Jadeheart up here please?"

"Yes," Jadeheart said.
Dropspring hesitantly stepped forward, licking his fur. He was a bit embarrassed at all the blood on him, he looked like he worked in a slaughterhouse. If only that was.

Darkkit nodded and walked over to Rainshadow shyly. "I don't know if I'll do good," he squeaked apologetically.

Finchstripe nodded towards the cats. "Alright. Jadeheart, can you take three other cats to patrol the Snowclan border? I want a nice, strong patrol there. We cannot seem weak after the attack. Dropspring, clean up and take one or two other cats to patrol the Rockclan border. We cannot neglect the other borders because of the battle with Snowclan. Honeycloud, you take a hunting patrol. The clan needs strength after this battle."

Jadeheart nodded. She would listen, though she thought this was a poor decision. She was a weak fighter, it would be difficult for her to scare off the few left on the border.
She turned to Fallingrain and Silvernight. "Are you still too injured?" She asked
Dropspring went to Galepaw. "You should come with me," he said.

Finchstripe turned to Honeycloud and with a wink, she added, "Try hunting us a turkey."

Galefeather nodded and tried to get up. She stood on wobbly legs but said cheerily, "Lets go!" She limped across the clearing behind Dropspring.
