I really want an Omlet Eglu Cube- am I nuts?

I really like them too...
But after owning chickens for a few years now... i wouldnt buy one. Buy a little shed or something.... much cheaper and more room for them.

an iglu ice chest, a few 2x4's or rebar, and some hardware cloth and tie wire and i could make one for $200 or less.

I've had an Eglu for 9-10 years now, I purchased it when I lived in the UK and it's still going strong now I'm in France.... I love it and would say to anyone looking for a house for 3-4 normal sized chickens then the Omlet Eglu is plenty big enough. they're very easy to clean especially if you have a Karcher it takes no time at all.
They are double skinned so keep the birds warm in winter too. I'm looking at the Cube at the moment as I'm extending my flock with Orpingtons.. they are pricey but if you can stretch to one it won't let you down.
Lastly they are fox proof, in all the years I've had this ive never lost a chicken.
