I think My Serama rooster has piece of crawfish stuck in his esophogus. labored breathing

Can you have someone help you to hold his beak open so a photo can be taken of the inside of his mouth? In the bottom photo it appears he has some gunky stuff inside his beak. If we can have a look at it one of us may recognize what it is.

If this is crowding his airway, he may not be getting

yes I can. He's such a sweet boy who loves to be held and cuddled with. I can have someone help me if I can't do it myself. I can tell he wants to feel better because he's so willing to cooperate. I let them out 8-830am. I will take pics as early as possible and post them. His name is Gandolf.

No, they are slightly different. Amoxicillin treats a broad spectrum of bacteria. The metronidazole will treat both bacteria and protozoa. Protozoa are parasites, not bacteria. Protozoa may be what's colonizing your roo's mouth. The Fish Mox won't treat protozoa.
