I think TSC did it again. Barred rocks possibly all roos!

So I have an update. Looks like I must have been hearing things because all the barred rocks still look like girls.

Here are a few pictures at 11ish weeks. Not sure if they are barred rocks but I'm happy the crowing was in my head or a neighbour had a roo.
They look like pullets. Not barred rocks, though.

Thanks, I'm hoping at this point I'm in the clear with no roosters. It would have been nice to actually get a barred rock. But hey these girls are pretty darn cute.
They are lovely! They seem to have a mixture of lacing and baring in their feathers. And at least one is a cuddler! :love
I do think you would love BRs also.

Thank you. My older daughter has this knack of making them cuddly. Maybe one day I will get BR locally then for sure they will be what they are supposed to be.

@Ohmyheart - I'm happy for you!

Yes, TSC employees make mistakes. I have some of those out in my yard as I type... Yes, hatchery employees make sexing mistakes too. I have some of those out in my yard as I type.

*sigh* Doesn't matter. I change my plans. I love all my birds. And all is good. :)

Congrats on your pullets!

They do look like pullets now but definitely not from two barred parents. Fingers crossed that whatever the mix was and intentional or not, you get an abundance of eggs, at least. I wonder what color the eggs will be?

Thank you, I wouldn't mind so much on the sexing if I could have roosters. What breed they are is not a big deal either. Definitely not something I would get upset at. Eggs are eggs :)

Yes I'm keeping my fingers crossed that no roosters pop up now. They are 12 weeks now so I'm almost safe. I never even thought about egg colour. Now I can get excited about what colour they will lay!! Most of my others are all brown egg layers.
